Circus Night @ Hardy Murphy Coliseum

The circus came to town & the Bruce Bunch was there! We had a blast - all of us and Aunt Chrissy. We saw the lions, tigers & bears - OH MY! Acrobats gallore...balancing acts, fire hullahoops & jugglers. We saw so much great stuff & it was just as exciting for Mom as it was the kids. I hadn't been to the circus since I was a kid!
Pretty girl (butterfly painted face) Tristan is so big now, she doesn't even need Mommy to help her on the pony ride!
Tiger face Spencer & Butterfly face Sophie - Don't they look great?
Sophie high on the elephant ride! Man, she couldn't wait to ride that elephant!

Chocolate Day @ Work

Ok - I didn't get any pictures of the chocolate fondou that we all had on Friday, but rest assured, we all enjoyed many treats dipped in chocolate! I did, however, get a few fun shots of me & my peeps at work!

Sophie's Dance

The annual Father/Daughter Dance was held this past Thursday & since Dad is not a dancer...Sophie's Papa stepped in to escort her. She was so excited & Papa got the works - corsage, limo ride, charm, pictures & the dance of course. She had such a great time & said "It was way better than last year!"

Lone Grove in Ruins

To all my friends & family - My prayers are with those of you who have suffered during the tornado of 2009. Should you have friends or family that lost in the storm on Tuesday night, I am thinking of you. Fortunately for me & my family - we are safe. We moved out of Lone Grove only 1 year ago. However, if we were still there - we would've been right in the line of fire of that massive wave of destruction. I am thankful that we missed this storm! You never know just how luck you are until you miss something like that.
Eric has several friends that live in Lone Grove - but are safe! One of his friends' parent's house was hit & has some damage & he has been a great friend & has gone over to help them put things back together. And since Eric has some experience, he is volunteering this weekend in the clean up efforts.
A doctor that I used to work for, Dr. Harris, had his house destroyed & we are very sad for him & his family. They are very lucky to be alive & that they have many friends & their church to support them.
Another co-worker of mine - her Mom & her Aunt both lost everything. Their houses completely destroyed. We are all very sad for Heather & her family and of course, will do anything we can to help them.
I am so sad to all of us that suffered during the storm of Tuesday - including all my dear friends in OKC & Edmond! My love goes out to all of you & I am so thankful to God that I didn't lose any of you!!

I LOST MY FIRST TOOTH

"See my gap Mommy!" were the first words I heard from Spencer when I picked him up yesterday from school. He had lost his very 1st baby tooth right in the front! Spencer's teacher was so kind to help him through pulling it completely out & even saved it for him in a baggie. He couldn't wait to show his teachers at daycare & his Daddy! This morning was another thrill for him when he found 2 new shiny quarters under his pillow from the Tooth Fairy (aka Mommy). It was a pretty exciting day!
